Love those Mannequins!

I've been lucky to find another pair of mannequins. Haven't thought what to call it, but its hanging in my bedroom.

Forgotten Memories

My first chunky book that I did for a friend for Christmas. Each page has a library pocket that has something in it, but personal items can be added.

R is for Rooster

Another ATC. Love those roosters!

3 As

3 As-made on a ace of spades playing card, this little boy is surely king of the kindergarten!

Old Things ARE Best!

This is a 4 slide mailer that I made into a birthday card for an "old" friend.

Three Turns

This was my second and most favorite piece I did for the Altered Fashion Photo group I play with. I did a "pieced" background and added "crazy quilt stitches". I also added a/c metal tape along the edges and used a metallic paint to make it look like old lead.

Garden Angel ATC

Didn't use my scanner because of the glitter, so the detail may not be the best. But it turned out well I think.

Little Girl

This was a lot of fun. The head is a hand cut stamp (first one I made) and handpieced the rest. I will definately do more!

Copper Pendant

I belong to quite a few Yahoo groups and I seem to be excited by every new thing those artsy folks are working with. This is a bamboo domino, silver a/c tape (oh boy!), magic metallics (love these) and armature wire (really love this). It may not look like much in the scan, but it has such detail, it actually looks like a very old piece of copper.

Spelling Bee #9

Another altered altoid tin.

Nest

This is a puzzle that I collaged. It was definately a challenge making sure that everything was cut correctly. The nice part is that it came in a frame so it stays together until you want to take it apart. I really like the way it came out.

Antiqued Tin

Took an old pencil tin and antiqued it - rust, vertigre, etc. Looks like an old piece - really! The birdhouse is the back...

Altered Tin

My first altered altoid tin, certainly not my last.

Busy Bee!

Been playing with armiture wire - this is my first one. I also have a domino that I covered with a paper bag from jjill (my favorite store) and a brass bee. Dangling is a pearl and a metal doodad. I put it on a gold necklace. Fancy!

Hang On!

A friend asked me to do something with a photo of her cat. I had a 5x7 canvas that I inked and added ripped paper. On top of that I added one of my photos of a hydrangea and put it on foam core. "Hang on" is appropriate for where she works!

Nursery Delight!

I did this for a garden themed lottery for one of the groups I play with. It's called Nursery Delight. The flower is one of my photographs. It was a lot of fun...

Christmas 2006

This was my Christmas card for 2006. Can you tell that I love Claudine Hellmuth? That's my boy Jake - my sweetest puppy (who'll be 8 in April). Every year he is the star of my Christmas card!
