I love ATCs

ATCs are the most fun to do. When I first started making collage stuff, I had a real problem making it small. Now I prefer it. I purchased the Seven Gypsies ATC Holder to hold my ATCs in a place that I can see them as opposed to a binder. It really helps when creativity takes a day off! As you can tell, I used book pages in each one.

Spirit House, Frida and Collage

Spent the day just making all kinds of things. Started out with ATCs, then moved to the ones shown here. This collage is for Vintage People with Wings. Going to New Zealand!

These two are for a 4"x4" Frida swap, partners to be chosen soon. These were fun!

This was probably the hardest swap to do - not sure what a spirit house is, but I hope my partner likes it. The front and back pieces are aged copper (both real and fake).

Things with Wings Swap

Lastest for this very fun swap! This one is called "bird in hand" -it's a mix of 5 different things: A postcard I received from someone, sticker clouds, a piece of paint technique chip, one of the photos I had taken in a cemetary and a piece of vintage scrap.
This one (called "watching the nest" ) has a handpainted background, a tape transfer, rubons and another vintage scrap.
A "distant sky" is a paint chip, tape transfer and butterflys.
"R is for Rooster" is just different papers and a little marker here and there.
"big bird little tree" are all stamps on a sticker background (the green hills). The bird and tree "leaves" are filled in by gel pens.
"Prim and proper" done on watercolor paper, sticker roses, the flowers along the side are from a vintage flower sticker that I trimmed and the vine at the top is hand done. Of coarse the butterfly wing is from Dollar Tree. Love that store!

Latest Swaps!

I've been busy - off of work and playing like crazy! These are all for Swap-bot swaps, partners haven't been selected yet. This is for an Inchies swap... includes my photos (printed on vellum), stamps, stickers and embossed stamps. This is 1 of 2 in the series.
This for a inchies postcard swap. Each inchie was done by hand, photographed then rearranged in Word and printed. I used a laminate to cover the postcard to make it travel well.
This is for a B/W inchie swap. These are all my photos. There are 3 in this series.
This is for a recycled ATC swap. I used a Coach catalog for all my ATCs. This is just 1 set of 3 that I did for this swap.

This is for a Xmas Recyled swap. I used wrappin and tissue paper, along with some vintage images. This 1 of 3 in the series.
I also signed up for a mini notebook swap - each book is 2"x3" and the pages are either mulberry or handmade paper. This was fun!

2 New ATCs

This one was fun to play with. Although not much of it showed, the bottom of the atc has a autumn photo of mine. And of coarse the background is a vintage bingo card.

This one is 3-d - although you can't tell it. It's called Queen Bee. The flowers are my photos too. The background has texture (ran through my sizzix). I hope the recipient enjoys these!

Gothic Arch ATC

This is a two-fold post! This is one of 9 ATCs I have to put together for a Gothic Arch ATC swap at Swap-bot. And the hat tag is from Green Paper Packages - she wanted to see what I was gonna do with the tag, so here it is! PS - she has wonderful things - take a look if you get a chance!

Xmas Inchies

Anxiously awaiting 12/17 when I will find out who will get these inchies. This is for a swap on Swap-bot. The inchies were done like the folder... stamped, inked (the inchies also had webbing spray - my new favorite in a spray!) and then cut into 1" squares. These can be very addicting! I hope my partners likes them!

Christmas Decorations

Never tried taking night photos before... not that they're sharp,
but of coarse I had to alter them.

Some of my newest swaps that have gone out!

Been busy working on my swaps - here are a few that I have sent out. This first one was for embossed inchies... I thought they looked like coral in the caribbean, so I named it "under the sea".

This one was for a tag in an ATC... The little girl and the couple were the tags. They fit nicely in the "background".

As I normally do, on Saturday Jake and I go out with my camera and take pictures. This one in particular was for a swap that I ran that was all about autmn tree colors. I love these kind of shots - where it shows the clouds and sky.

Meet Jake - My favorite subject! Kelli - enjoy!

As you all know I swap on Swap-bot and this posting is to fulfill my swap duties with Kelli. You see we are to share pictures of pets, so here he be. I've had Jake 8 years and he's my best bud. He loves to accompany me on Saturdays when we hit the yardsales and look for photo opportunities. I really think he loves to model for me. One day I just shot loads of pictures and each one was a little different (the altered shot to the right is one of them) .

One of my favorite pictures is the one where he is wearing his "doogles". It was very easy to take his picture as he would not move until I removed them. Looks already for a ride in the convertible huh?

The one here is a shot of Sundance on the beach around 1975. I superimposed a shot of Jake next to him. Sundance died in 1989, and Jake wasn't born until 1999. But I think the shot looks they were both there at the same time.

The portrait of Jake is superimposed and kinda makes him look like a southern gentleman (which he is - born in Florida!). Well this has been fun! I hope you enjoy Kelli.

Look - up in the sky!

These photos just looked too good not to shoot them.
