I was looking at several blogs today, and ran accross Nancy Baumiller. She has a Flickr site that has challenges each week. I'm hoping that I understand this correctly, you are to take what she uploads and use it in a collage. This is what I put together using three of the elements in Collage 1. I'm also to thank those who put together the items in collage 1 (Images from: linnet555, cassandra204, monkey123, Suzee Que, clotho98, jack and cat curio, wackystuff, jerseybarb85, Judy Scott, fidgetrainbowtree, HA! Designs-Artbyheather, ArtbyChrysti, sassyarts, neefer, imagesbyKim, annieoakley, Stars*Go*Blue, sPaRK*YouR*iMaGiNaTioN, wiebelwuppie, Joy Eliz, PaperScraps and Nancy Baumiller!! )
This is called beautiful dreamer - the yellow flower, the striped road background and the letters on the left are all from photos I took in Washington DC a week or 2 ago. Added my usual butterfly and wam! A collage.

200 hearts
On Swap-bot, if you do as required you get a 5 and if you do more you get a heart. Well, last week I got my 200th heart and I am sending this postcard to that swapper. I have used recycled card stock, golden fluid acrylics, golden pumice and tar gel. Lots of black marker and white pen and a little spray paint. It's called overflow. I hope she likes it!

Pick 2 - Prompts that is
Swap-bot swap for pick 2 prompts - photography swap. I decided to put them into a booklet style. All photos (some I didn't upload) were from my walking tour of the capitol mall in DC that I did last Monday. There are some amazing photos to be had. Unfortunately I was too early to get into the museums, but the sculpture and flower gardens were well worth the walk! I had two partners, and these photos are a combo of the two books. Hope they like!

Tim Holtz Weekend
WOW! Loved my two classes at the Queens Ink (what a fabulous store) in Savage Maryland. Tim is a terrific teacher/artist/person. Loved Mario and Patty (Queens Ink) too. I originally signed up for the Assemblage of Flight class but got Curio of Curiosity instead. So happy! Learned zillions of things and have something wonderful to boot. Tim gave us lots of goodies to take home and finish the frame. So generous! This was the first class. Sorry for the reflection - but it is glass you know.
This was the second class. Not finished, but again Tim supplied us with more than enough stuff to complete. If you can take a class with Tim - do it!

Mixed Media Bird with Nest
I bought this phone and was hoping to take it to my class with Tim Holtz next weekend, but unfortunately, we won't be able to do Assemblage of Flight. I had a bird I couldn't figure out what to do with it, so I pulled the phone apart, painted it (a lot), used the wires for the nest, and added quilting pins for the stamen. I think it looks cute... what do you think?
