Like a rock!

If it doesn't move it could be my next art piece - a paperweight!

New backgrounds - digitally enhanced

A new technique (for me) - glue, paint and a heat gun.

I then used my program to alter the photo. This first one is Lumiere. This is acrylic paint (looks better enhanced).
This is Perfect Pearls.
This is Adirondack Acrylic.

New ATCs

Been busy playing with tape. Unfortunately been using packing tape (which isn't very large) and had to piece it for larger sizes. All the while I have very large clear tape and I didn't have to do any piecing! Live and learn. So pay no attention to those with the stripes... This is called lust. this is called relax.
this is called mother nature.
this is called i heart nj.
this is called camo.

New Art

This is a collarboration piece and its called Parts & Pieces in Pink. It's done with packing tape and a background by Janene. I also used my sewing machine and a little paint!

This is called tattoo... also packing tape, a little paint and some sewing.

This is another piece with Janene and is called blue stars.

Another piece with Janene called lines.

This is called net. Went a little crazy with the sewing machine.

Smell the flowers

Two new postcards (yes I do love to make them!)

I am Echinacea

"You are a health conscious person, both your health and the health of others. You know all about the health benefits and dangers of the world around you."

I am an Echinacea What Flower Are You?

Inchies again!

These were a lot of fun to put together. I played with shaving cream and paint for the backgrounds and the punches. A little black ink, some words from the computer and voila! Fun without being as time consuming as the first ones.

I've been MOOved!

Here is just a small sampling of my new MOO cards. I love the texture and the sheen of these cards! This photo does not do them justice. If you are interested in swapping MOOs... let me know!

Inchies Crazy!

This group of 25 took me more than 3 hours to complete! And I didn't even realize it was that late until I was done. Time does go by fast when you're having fun! I decided I would only work with round and square punches and could only make one additional cut unless it was to trim excess off the overhang. Very pleased with the results!

New greeting/note cards!

This piece is called - all she wanted was sunshine. This is one is called - all righty then.
This one was made by 4 circle punches, ribbon and text from books, and words and photos from fashion magazines. Next one - square punches!

Altered Organizer

I picked this organizer up and had fun with a few of my favorite stamps. I still have some altering to do with the inside, then I might put it on etsy. We'll see!

Happy Birthday ala Hellmuth

Playing around with some old photos that I copied and altered ala Claudine Hellmuth. First time and now know what I need to adjust to make it come out better. But I still like it just the same. I will be making some more I'm sure!

Stampathon - stamprageous!

Played with the Mochas yesterday and had way too much fun! The photos are what I did with each teacher... can we do this again... tomorrow?

These are the ones I did with Alice...

had done polymer before but not with ink and a stamp.

I am smitten!

This is the box we decorated with Cindy. What a neat idea!

Then we moved on to cards. I don't think I was being a very good follower, but heh - love the results. And even better - Cindy gave us another packet to make at home!

The scarf we did with Thea may not come out very clear in the photo - but it has different variations of color and intensity that are unbelievable!
Thia is the by product from the scarf .

This is the paper used to iron out the embossing after we dyed the scarf. Much fun!

OMG! More Postcards!

Here are my latest postcards -the first two were inspired by a group member's piece she did that I just loved. As you see - still in love with the glitter!

strength!

You are Strength
Courage, strength, fortitude. Power not arrested in the act of judgement,

but passing on to further action, sometimes obstinacy.
This is a card of courage and energy. It represents both the Lion's hot, roaring energy, and the Maiden's steadfast will. The innocent Maiden is unafraid, undaunted, and indomitable. In some cards she opens the lion's mouth, in others she shuts it. Either way, she proves that inner strength is more powerful than raw physical strength. That forces can be controlled and used to score a victory is very close to the message of the Chariot, which might be why, in some decks, it is Justice that is card 8 instead of Strength. With strength you can control not only the situation, but yourself. It is a card about anger and impulse management, about creative answers, leadership and maintaining one's personal honor. It can also stand for a steadfast friend.

What Tarot Card are You?

Take the Test to Find Out.

More Postcards-Yipppppeeeee!

3 new postcards I made for a group I play with.

These are fun to make and more fun to mail!

The backgrounds are glossy photopaper with alcohol inks.

Use of glitter is becoming habit forming!

One more to grow on!

One more card in the "grow" series. Just listed it on etsy tonight.

Inside the card.

grow

Here are two new note cards I put together. Hard to tell, but the photos (mine) are raised in several areas for dimension.

This is the inside of the second card.
This is the inside of the first card. Envelope design is the same for both.

Beauty by Design

Here is a new fat book I've been working on called Beauty by Design. I had a lot of fun working on it and like the look. I used Adirondack acrylics for the backgrounds.

Adding to my stash!

Love the way this card came out.

This is a card I made - hard to tell, but I cut out around the petals...

it's also on a black card.

Another postcard. Love the postcard!
