Excellent day - Friday

Loved this class - Stephanie Rubiano's Butterfly Boxes.  Old photo and plywood... who knew?  We started with a "baby" to get our cutting down before we went with our main image.

If you know me, I can't leave well enough alone - hand colored her and cut her a new pair of wings.

Then we cut our image for the box.  Wish I had taken some photos.  I'm thinking - I loved my angel from Thursday night's journal, so I figure what the hay... let me cut one out.  So here she is!

Here is my finished box (just have to clean the glass and seal it up).  Those are real butterfly wings she is sporting there! It was difficult to photograph.  The caption on the bottom was from a very vintage riddle book and it says: what female name would an egg object to be called?  Addle-laid (Adelaide).  LOL - can't you tell its very old?  They had a funny sense of humour back then.  Fun huh?
